My name is Dmytro Khmara and I'm a London-based Ukrainian software engineer.
I'm currently at Neko Health, helping build the platform that makes preventive health screenings accessible to everyone.
Before Neko, I was the first backend engineer on DeepL Write, where I designed and owned the platform serving over a million daily writing sessions. Prior to that, I led the payments integration behind Checkout.com's US launch.
I co-founded BeLinked - a UK-based SaaS startup that helped transportation companies manage their jobs, drivers, and financials online - and spent a decade before that creating software and leading teams at EPAM, Wonga, and Leadify.
I'm also part-way through an MSc in Software Engineering at the University of Oxford.
I love running trails and doing an occasional road cycling race.
